Important Questions Of Our Time.

Is Julia Bradbury:
The new Carol Vorderperson?

I watched the B.B.C.'s Secret Britain programme this evening and noticed that the usually voluble Ms. Bradbury became very quiet whist being lowered into Alum Pot in the Yorkshire Dales.

I can't properly compare the two until I've had a chance to hold them and to roll them around on my tongue for a bit.

Hmm... If I was forced to toss up between the two, I'm not really sure which side I'd like to come down on.

What?

I recommend you to read 'Pot-Pourri from a Cumberland Mountain'; (Rudd, S., Twenty Three Poems, King’s England Press, Rotherham, 2009.)

It’s a wonderful parody on Betjeman’s 'J Hunter-Dunn', but is dedicated to Miss J Bradbury.

I don’t have permission to publish, but I’ll lend you my copy.

I refuse to watch Countdown any more!

Is Julia Bradbury the new Alice Roberts? OR is either the new Joan Bakewell, "the thinking man's crumpet"? As for women being voluble -don't get me started- but TV presenters are supposed to talk a bit, aren't they? Or is Marcel Marceau your rôle model?
