I Like To Press Wild Flowers.

Sometime ago, so long now that I can't remember when, I found a flower press in a bin.
I brought it home because it had 4 bolts c/w wingnuts on it and I thought the two bits of wood might come in handy as well.

On 'dead-heading' the flowers in the front garden one afternoon I thought 'hang on, I could try to press some of these'.
So I did.

This afternoon I was tidying the lab and found the flower press.
It worked!
So I put the squashed bloom in a frame:

Yes.... it's a pansy.
