New Ceiling Day.

Furniture removed, pictures taken down, carpet rolled up, put in the bedroom and we're ready for the  plastering man to come and make this situation better:

Since removing the partition/breakfast-bar the ceiling has been exposed as an ugly misshapen thing covered in Artex that hasn't been consistently 'swirled' so rather than re-Artexing we've decided to start again with a nice flat surface.

Paul the plastering man covered everything up:

Including the fish tank which was far to heavy to remove:

Quite a lot of whistling went on, for quite some time.
I poked my head round the door to see the last bit of the old ceiling before it disappeared forever:

Then left Paul the plastering man to finish it all off:

I examined the ceiling very closely and, having admired it's 'flatness', have decided some form of witchcraft is at work here.
